A message from
Martin Grant, Owner/Chief Inspector, Noteworthy Property
Inspections:
"We enjoyed meeting those of you who
stopped by our booth at the recent PWR Expo at the Disneyland Hotel. If you
didn't make it this year, look out for details of next year's
event.
In this issue of my
newsletter the first article is about building permits and their
importance. Non-permitted work is common and we always recommend buyers to check
with the local City Planning Department for permits that have been issued on a
subject property. Check out the website link below for lots of good information
on how and where to obtain building permits.
It's Wildfire season, and there are
certain specific actions that can be taken to improve a home's protection from
wildfire. Read the article below for more details.
Finally, I've included an article on how
to select and size a water heater to meet your actual demands. We commonly see
remodeled homes that have had bedrooms and bathrooms added without any upgrade
to the water heater. Even the minimum code requirements often don't meet modern
hot water demands."

excellent resource on the internet. This website had a lot of useful

practical way to accurately determine your hot water usage needs and to find
the size of water heater needed. Homes are often remodeled (with added
