A message from
Martin Grant, Owner/Chief Inspector, Noteworthy Property
Inspections:
"In this issue of my newsletter CREIA is continuing
with part four of it's monthly news-release series entitled "Common Myths
& Realities about Home Inspections. If you would like to view the earlier
press releases please visit www.noteworthypi.com/downloads.htm
to view them, as well as other reference material.
In today's market, many Realtors are
seeing the benefit of having a Listing Inspection performed. Tomorrow (Aug. 9),
OCAR is holding two CREIA sponsored Seminars on listing inspections, each
seminar earns 3 DRE CECs. For those that can't attend the the seminars I have
attached an article discussing the benefits of listing
inspections.
I often have clients ask me when will they
need to replace their heating and cooling systems. The attached article
provides some guidelines on this as well as tips on how to hire a
heating and cooling contractor.
Finally, I went to see the movie An
Inconvenient Truth recently. For those that haven't seen it I recommend it
strongly. I have attached the "ten things to do" list which is shown at the end
of the movie. This list provides 10 simple things we can all do to reduce global
warming. Most of the items also provide for energy cost savings as an added
benefit."
