A message from Martin Grant, Owner/Chief Inspector, Noteworthy Property Inspections:

"In this issue of my newsletter CREIA is continuing with part five of it's monthly news-release series entitled "Common Myths & Realities about Home Inspections. If you would like to view the earlier press releases please visit www.noteworthypi.com/downloads.htm to view them, as well as other reference material.
I have prepared an article this month discussing the Home Inspection related provisions of the California Residential Purchase Agreement. Understanding these provisions will help you and your clients get the most out of your Home Inspection.
You can save money and help protect the environment by switching to compact fluorescent light bulbs. Read about the benefits and features in the article included. In another related story, there are many rebates available from the utility companies which make installing energy efficient devices more affordable. I now have a link on my website to allow you to look these up for any zip code in California.
Finally, I came across some good safety information published by the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association. The document is entitled "Hidden Hazards in Your Home", and I have included a link to it in this months newsletter."
